return on creativity: plaid painted pillow

Another painted pillow.  I just had to try my hand at plaid.

more masking tape and paint...

It's so magical when you pull the tape off...

Then perpendicular stripes...

I sewed this into another 16 inch square pillow with an envelope closure in the back.

This pillow turned out a bit more masculine...

...perfect for a leather chair.

I love how the paint just totally transforms the plain pillow. Great post.

I found you at Ladybird Ln, on her Sytlish blogger post. I love your two pillows - the plaid one and the rose one. I wish I had more talent to sew pillows. Will keep this in mind, if I'm daring enough to try.

I would love if you followed me at:

How did you come up with this idea? Genius! Now I can customize my pillow colors according to my color motif without spending too much time at a fabric store :)

By the way, we have a Swap Followings Linky Party going on right now where you get to meet excellent bloggers and increase your followers in the process. It's easy to join - just whip up a post and include the party button in the post then link up and start following other bloggers in the party so they can follow you, too.
