I've been doodling a lot lately in the evenings. It's so easy to grab a Sharpie and a sketchbook and go to town.
I've been looking into Alisa Burke's sketchbook for inspiration and even bought some watercolors to play with.
I used to practice my handwriting obsessively in high school. My mother used to say that my class notes looked better than papers she used to hand in when she was in school. Now I type way more than I write and I don't care for my handwriting much anymore.
I read somewhere that doodling helps you pay attention when people are speaking. I hope that's true because I am finding myself doodling in meetings lately.
I forgot how much I used to enjoy just doodling for no reason. Pick up a pen, grab some paper, and give it a try...it's a great way to spend an hour...

I love to doodle. I doodle while I am waiting in doctor's offices, and when I'm in meetings sometimes too! :)
So cute! I love doodling and writing. In 3rd grade, I got a "Best Penmanship" award and still have handwriting that I'm pretty proud of. Your little people that you drew remind of these little people that a student used to draw. They were super cute and I'd had her draw for me so I could save her pictures. Super cute stuff, lady! ;) Keep on doodlin'!
I am not a doodler - you are incredibly talented, though.
I catch myself doodling as well... it seems to be most while I'm on the phone with someone. My doodles usually start out with one thing and morph into something else. LOL
I enjoyed your doodles (however, compared to me your doodles are more like artwork!)
LOve your doodling's ... I will have to try this!
