work in progress: kitchen window herb garden
What is the opposite of green? I'm not sure, but whatever it is that is the color of my thumb.
Despite my decidedly not green thumb I am trying to grow an herb garden in my kitchen window.
This is another step in my quest to make my kitchen cuter by making curtains, painting the kitchen cabinets, and hanging fabric flowers in the window.
I chose parsley, cilantro, and dill which are herbs I could conceivably use when cooking (although I'm not much of a cook either).
I got these cute little pots at Pottery Barn last year. I planted some flowers in them last year (which did not last long).
Now I'll just wait and see if anything comes up...
I can't wait to see some green in this window (fingers crossed).

Good luck with your plants. When I try growing things indoors the cats eat it up. My sister does not have a green thumb either, you are not alone. I swear she can kill silk flowers!
My cats eat my indoor stuff, too. The trick with herbs is making sure they get enough light. Once they start going, though, they're pretty tough to kill. Fingers crossed yours take.
Hope you get some results from them! I also have a black thumb so I don't even attempt it. And my cat also eats our plants...sounds like a common problem! Good luck!
I'm so grateful that you linked up in this week's Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop :) This awesome post totally rocked the party!
